Jones The Bones – A Guide

Jones the Bones Oil and Jones the Bones Balm

Jones the Bones Oil and Balm are fantastic products and are a customer (and staff) favourite here at The Old Apothecary Shop. They are amongst some of our bestselling products with people returning to buy it time and time again. This award winning product comes in compostable packaging and is mindfully manufactured.

What’s it for?

Used by the Osteopaths on their own clients, this oil is brilliant for easing and reducing the symptoms of the following:

  • Arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Muscle spasm
  • Joint pain
  • Growing pains
  • Restless legs
  • Sports injuries

What’s the difference between the Oil and the Balm?

The main difference between the Oil and the Balm is that one (the bottle) is in liquid oil form and the other (the round tin) is in a solid balm form. The oil is better for large areas such as the legs, whilst the balm is more suitable for smaller areas such as fingers and knuckles. The balm is also ideal for travel, the gym or the office, making it a perfectly portable pain relief.

What’s in it?

Handmade by Osteopaths in Wales, this product is made with only pure plant oils, pure essential oils and absolutely no artificial chemicals or ingredients. Its ingredients include Chamomile, Rosemary, Lavender and Marjoram essential oils, all of which together produce a warming yet calming natural fragrance.

How do you use it?

The trick with Jones the Bones (both Oil and Balm) is to massage it into the affected area morning and night. The combination of the products, the massage and regular use will help ease your symptoms. A little goes a very long way which means both should last you a long time.

Top Tip

We find that Jones the Bones pairs perfectly with our Muscle and Joint Epsom Salts, which have been infused with Lemongrass, Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Black Pepper. Together these two products make a hell of team.
